I’m feeling like a busy bee these days – I’ve already cooked dozens of jars of plum jam (= the best jam in the whole world!)
I’ve pickled baby zucchini and red bell peppers and I’m really liking the result!
My basil crop has been fantastic despite the bad start. I’ll save a jar of pesto for the chilly Autumn days… to remind me of those beautiful summer days
Packages of chopped parsley on their way to the freezer
I’ve also frozen fresh tarragon leaves to use them in cakes during winter months
I’ve already dried several jars worth of mint leaves – mint infusion is one of my favorite drinks ever!
Savory is one of those herbs that grow like crazy, regardless of weather condition. I love to use it in legume dishes and this year I’ve started adding it to chicken as well. Beautiful aroma!
