Na… not this time
Of course, sometimes is not enough with Maji's milkshakes… weather is crazy lately and Ljubljana couldn't avoid to join the latest global warming fashion. To some weeks full of electric storms, followed a week with no less than 35ºC each day. For Yours Truly this is nothing compared with a normal Spanish summer, but around here it's not so common and houses have a nice isolation, worth of the best antinuclear bunkers. Put this together with the panic of Slovenes to any air current, and we have a nice problem.
And there's no "botijos". And no "gazpacho ". No "sangría " even. Crap. So, who you gonna call?
However… our nice landlord surely imagined our suffering… and came to the rescue with a pair of nice fellas. Actually they came a bit early -6am-, after notifying us with a generous margin of 15 minutes. For once, I understood 'em. I couldn't sleep either. After some wall-destroying, all was good… and cool.
I love my landlord. In a non-gay way.
However, fate -it seems- is not without a sense of irony… Nature didn't like our defying act and sent its four horsemen after us.
And precisely today the weather changed from a nice, soft, blue colour…

To a wind that ruined the neighbours' plants. At first I was amazed… hey this A/C compressor is powerful indeed!. Then I figured out it was off. Together with the construction materials, air and earth joined forces and made for a nice sandstorm.
After that, water didn't want to miss the party… and rain came.

And to finish the round, our well-known electric storm coming out from nowhere. And the skies ignited with fire.
Finally, as suddenly as all this came, it went. So there wasn't much time -or point- to try the A/C. I learnt however, not to mess with nature. After all, it alone was capable of doing…
… what these other 4 "elements" -aka frustrated and traumatized little kiddos- practising for their jobless and alcoholic futures, and loaded with red-bull + vodka, couldn't…
Is maybe human stupidity the fifth element?
